It turns out there’s confusion out there over the ‘twist’ ending (the quotation marks are there because we don’t know what it is yet, and it seems like the phrase ‘twist ending’ is over-used/misused a lot these days, and WE will be the judge of if the ending to Paranormal Activity: The Marked ones is a REAL twist ending, thank you very much), so we even found an elaborate discussion of the ending explained here, including how it ties in with the other movies in the series (and some “Easter eggs” for the series).
